Ready-to-use therapeutic food is too expensive to treat all malnourished children

RReady-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) is the standard treatment for severe malnutrition, but its cost limits how many children can be reached with available funding. Cost-disruptive innovations in ingredients, formulation, or production could make RUTF far cheaper without losing nutritional value. Lower-cost RUTF would stretch every aid dollar to save more lives.
