Transport a person's presence and skills to a distant location via avatar

MMany situations require human skill and presence somewhere a person cannot physically be, such as disaster zones, remote care, or distant worksites. Travel is slow, costly, and sometimes impossible. The challenge is to build robotic avatar systems that let an operator see, hear, act, and interact in real time at a remote location as if they were physically there.
