Space infrastructure cannot be serviced or repaired once in orbit

SSatellites and other space assets currently have no practical way to be serviced, refuelled, or repaired in orbit, so failures often mean total loss and growing debris. The EIC Accelerator Challenge on in-space servicing, operations, robotics, and technologies seeks solutions for resilient EU space infrastructure. This affects satellite operators, space agencies, and the industries that depend on space-based services.
