SSDG 9 targets resilient infrastructure and significantly increased access to information and communications technology, with universal and affordable internet in least developed countries. Roughly 2.6 billion people remained offline in 2023, so they cannot reach education, health, or financial services delivered digitally. Closing the connectivity and access gap unlocks most other goals.
