Place names buried in natural language sentences are hard to extract

SSystems struggle to identify place names from free-text sentences, limiting geotagging, search, and mapping. An extraction model would pull location references from natural language reliably. This powers geospatial analysis and information retrieval. Posted by ISRO under the space technology theme.
