Construction sites still depend on manual labour in unsafe, unpredictable conditions

OOn-site construction remains labour-intensive, dangerous, and inefficient in complex, unstructured environments where conditions change constantly. The EIC Pathfinder Challenge targets autonomous robot collectives that can collaboratively carry out construction tasks together. Progress would improve worker safety, raise productivity, and support more sustainable building.
