Pull clean drinking water from desert air reliably and sustainably

AA research grant program funds AI-enabled digital-twin design of solar-powered atmospheric water harvesting to produce clean, reliable water. Conventional supply in arid regions is energy-intensive desalination that strains power and the environment. Harvesting water from air with solar energy could give a low-carbon, distributed water source.
