Hard-to-recycle waste streams have no viable path back into useful materials

PProblematic waste streams such as mixed plastics, composites, brines, and flue gases lack practical conversion routes, so they pile up as pollution and lost resources. This EIC Pathfinder Challenge calls for waste-to-value devices that turn these streams into renewable fuels, chemicals, and materials. It would help waste handlers and manufacturers move toward a circular economy.
