We cannot picture an ocean world where life runs on chemistry instead of sunlight

OOn worlds without sunlight, life may depend on chemosynthesis, energy drawn from chemical reactions, but this concept is hard to imagine and teach. The challenge asks solvers to design a scientifically grounded fictional aquatic world sustained by chemosynthesis and the organisms that could live there. This stretches understanding of where and how life might exist beyond Earth.
