Give billions of people reliable, affordable access to clean water

HHundreds of millions of people live without dependable access to safe water, and shortages are worsening with population growth and climate stress. Current desalination and water-supply systems are often too energy-intensive, costly, or geographically limited to close the gap. The goal is system-level innovations and novel desalination methods that make clean water widely accessible and affordable.
